OK here is an idea we (my bestest online buddy, lol, private joke there) and I are trying out, this is what I have so far, have to stitch the bottom closed and then it should be a soap hangee thingee, LOL

I'm just learning to crochet. I picked up my first hook in October 2004 when my DS needed a scarf and have been hooked ever since. I have made a few things: scarves, fingerless gloves (hand warmers), hats, a poncho, cell phone pouches, hobo bag, clutch bag, a few throws, a full size blanket for a gift, a few pairs of slippers, a Christmas stocking for MIL's dog and a dishscrubbie. I'm sure there is more.... Up here in the mountains there is not too much to do so this hobby is perfect for me and I just love handmade items for myself as well as for gifts. It's just finding the time to sit still is the problem. Since DS moved out the only children DH and I have in the house are our 7 cats and my dog. We moved up here April '02 from a borough in NYC. It was a bit of a culture shock but I easily adjusted to no shopping, rolling in the sidewalks at 8, very dark nights but hey you can see all the stars at night....Can't see that in the city !!
